Reimagining the Everyday for HKTB

How do you surprise a city that has seen it all? By finding magic in the mundane. For the Hong Kong Tourism Board, we targeted overlooked urban elements like mailboxes and tram stations to spread holiday cheer. By recognizing the geometric similarity between a standard mailbox and a Christmas tree, we used 3D installations to transform over 70 mailboxes into "PostmasTrees" across the city. To complete the sensory experience, we hacked the iconic Hong Kong tram bells, replacing the standard arrival chime with a festive Jingle Bells remix to turn every commute into a holiday moment.
